Rockucation Question This Week Of October 22nd, 2023!

Last Week’s Rockucation Question:

Back in 1977, Aerosmith refused to rent a Convair CV-240 airplane, after their airplane crew inspected it and thought that the crew nor the plane was up to standard. This was for their Draw The Line tour. The band that did rent it ended up in a crash where they lost their lead vocalist, guitarist/vocalist and a back up singer. Three members of the band had died amongst others. The rest of the band that were on it survived and eventually went on to tour with the lead vocalist's brother in his place. Who is the band?

Answer:

Lynyrd Skynyrd.
