This week’s Rockucation question is:
The band didn’t know it at the time, but the name they picked for themselves from a key ring they found in their rehearsal space was an actual person. The band, who originated in South Carolina found the key chain and decided to go with it as their name. The actual person was a blind person who tuned pianos at the space they rented. A promoter gave them an hour to come up with a name before they performed and that’s how they found it. They opened for The Allman Brothers on their very first tour, but headlined soon after as their self titled debut charted. Who is the band?
