The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame (RARHOF going forward), announced 2018 nominees, and it’s a big list. As many of you know, I have always had issues with the RARHOF. I went on relentless campaigns to get Kiss in. I won’t bore you with those details. I really struggle with the nominees for several reasons. First off, some of these bands/artists should already be in. Secondly, I don’t like the fact that they nominate non-rockers, they shouldn’t be in. Case closed. Another reason for me is how they decide who should get in and who shouldn’t Kiss was just the original lineup, which was unfortunate. Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band had every member, so they have no consistency. All members should be in if they have recorded an album and toured. I know I’m being general, but I think you understand my point. In any case here are the nominees:

The lines in bold are the five I voted for. But the main thing is everyone should vote for a rock band/artist so the others who are not rock related don’t get in. As always the list is big and hard to narrow down choices. At least we can vote for 5 of them and you can do that here. Remember you can vote everyday, so please take advantage of that. Most of my votes are based on the fact, I felt they should already have been in. I know I didn’t vote for them this time, but The Moody Blues, Bon Jovi and Dire Straits would be on that list. I would also ask you to research the artist that you may or may not know to have a better understanding who they are and if they should be in or not. Who would be your choice?
