Rockucation Question This Week January 1st, 2023!

Last Week’s Rockucation Question:

This heavy metal frontman wrote a Christmas song for his wife that ended up being recorded by Celine Dion. AT the time she didn’t know who wrote it. She did change the name of the song. Eventually the singer says Dion bought him his house as it was one of the biggest Christmas singles of all time. Name the heavy metal frontman and the song title that Dion recorded?

Answer:

Dee Snider: The Magic Of Christmas.

Winners:

Charles Schwarze, Denton, TX, Jean Dale, Warwick, RI, Nina McCarthy, Westerly, RI, John Moran, Westfield, MA and Darryl Sampson, Kingston, MA..

This week’s Rockucation question is:

These southern rockers has what some consider to be the longest single. It’s their take on Donovan’s 1967 song There Is A Mountain. The band only played it live, never did a studio version. The group usually ends their set with it in a long jam, hence the longest version of a song. When they did release it was 33:41 minutes long. Name the band and the name of their version of it?

Do you think you know the answer to this music question? Take a guess by clicking the link above! If you answer it correctly, your name will be featured in next week’s Rockucation section. Please when responding give us your first and last name, and where you are from as an example John Doe, Atlanta, Georgia.
