This Rhode Island based band got its name from a color of paint. They became very popular in the 1980’s after being chosen to make the soundtrack for a movie. The movie was based on a novel by P.F. Kluge. They did the sequel as well, but that bombed. This band was also endorsed by Bruce Springsteen. Name the band and the movie.
