Van Halen Releases Rare Video From 40 Years Ago For “So This Is Love”! Awesome Doesn&#82

Van Halen’s rare video for their single So This Is Love from their 1981 album “Fair Warning” has surfaced 40 years later from their Italian fan club. The promo clip was shot for a TV show in Italy called Happy Circus. It aired in 1982. Most haven’t seen it and Van Halen fans around the world have been searching for it for what seemed like an impossible find. We are given this gift today. The song is a classic and nothing needs to be said about it. The video is amazing. It was shot Jurassic park in Italy, the “Prehistoric Park” of Rivolta D’Adda (near Milan). You get to see David Lee Roth in all his glory and the band right behind him all having a great time.

Watching Roth display what a frontman should do and be, is well, perfection in action. I mean you can see who has influenced and his style is still embedded in the DNA of so many out there today. Seeing Eddie Van Halen smiling and playing guitar with boys is fun to see. Obviously this was in better times for the group.  You get the band in their prime doing what they do best and that’s all you need. Interesting place to film a video but very cool. Hell, you even get to see a mammoth. Check it out below.
