Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers has released another single from their just released album “Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers Live At The Fillmore 1997”. You can get a copy here. The latest single from the release is American Girl. The song is a classic and in its live form it has a rawness to it, unlike the study version. I guess it’s something we get to appreciate as we are getting these types of releases even though he has passed on. The video plays into the title and have to say it really doesn’t add anything to make the song stand out. I find it interesting that it’s shot in black and white.
