Tom Petty Releases “Something Could Happen”!

Tom Petty has released another single from his current album “Wildflowers & All The Rest” the box set. You can get a copy here. Since Petty’s passing we have been getting s lot of great material from his estate. Something Could Happen is no exception. Petty was a modern day storyteller and gave people a voice. This song continues his legacy in that way. This is comfort food for your music soul. You sit back and listen.

The video is a story in a fairy tale like fashion. A woman who is played by Lauren Cohan (The Walking Dead). This is a fun watch as you see the story unfold. Now if you are true Petty fan then you will see some hidden things within the video that reflects some of his songs and life. I’ll give you an example as to what I mean but let you figure out the rest on your own. You will see the top hat from the Alice and the Mad Hatter from the video of the single Don’t Come Around Here No More. There are several more that you can make reference too.
