The Steve Miller Band Put Out An Unreleased Version Of Howlin’ Wolf’s “Killing Flo

The Steve Miller Band has a new album coming out on October 11th titled “Welcome To The Vault”. You can pre-order it here. Killing Floor is a Howlin’ Wolf song that Miller covered back in 1975 and never released it. I admit it I like it and he definitely owns it with his style. He seemed to have a more funky and polished approach versus the heavier sounds of Led Zeppelin when they covered Blues legends.I think you will also noticed it’s more of an up tempo beat as opposed to the slower more moody sound of the Blues. At this point it’s something interesting and new from band. There is no video just a stream of the song. You can check it out below.
