The Jimi Hendrix Experience will be releasing “Los Angeles Forum: April 26, 1969” on November 18th. You can pre-order it here. The release will be celebrating what would be his 80th birthday (November 27, 1942). The single from the forthcoming album is I Don’t Live Today. The song first appeared on their debut 1967 album “Are You Experienced”. Just listening to this track makes wish I had the chance to see them, instead I am fortunate enough to get this. When you hear Noel Redding on bass and Mitch Mitchell on drums, well the drums are pretty amazing. That’s not to say Hendrix’s guitar work isn’t, but at this point it’s expected. It’s just nice to hear. Give it a listen below.
