The Georgia Thunderbolts Release Their Version Of Frank Miller’s “Be Good To Yourself&#8

The Georgia Thunderbolts will be releasing a new album on October 15th titled “Can We Get A Witness”. You can pre-order it here. If you wait until November 26th and pick up the vinyl version you will get a bonus track called Better Run From The Beast. Ahead of the release is the new single and a cover of Frank Miller’s Be Good To Yourself. If you don’t know who Miller is you should check him out and see who he’s recorded with. You just might be surprised, he has quite a catalog. When I first heard the band was releasing a new single for a new album I was excited because I would finally be getting new music from them.

The song is true to the original in its format but they did make it their own with their southern sound. T.J. Lyle’s vocals just take the song to another level. Miller sang in more of a Rod Stewart style. I say that so you can appreciate what Lyle brought to it. Outside of the vocals, the music brings a modern feel to their version of the track.
