The Fallen State Team Up With Chris Robertson Of Black Stone Cherry For Their Latest Single “N

The Fallen State has released a new single called Nova that features Chris Robertson of Black Stone Cherry. The song is from their new EP called “The View From Ruin”, out now. In case you were wondering how a band from the United Kingdom hooks up with the frontman from a band in Kentucky, The Fallen State opened for Black Stone Cherry when they toured overseas. In any event, I am glad they teamed up. I love Robertson’s voice and it does compliment singer Ben Stenning’s vocals. It’s quite the pairing. This song should be a massive hit by anyone’s standards. The music is moving as is the guitar solo. But the most powerful part of this song is when Stenning sings just lightly played chords and sings the following;

How can I go on? With all we’ve lost When the photographs we took were not enough I’m telling you, baby I’ll be right here by your side Saying everything’s alright My light, my life

When you hear the vocals and the emotion behind it, so much so you can almost feel his pain. That’s the kind of stuff that makes a great song. Right after he sings it, the drums kick in and the song just goes to another level. It’s a great track, fantastic vocals from both Stenning and Robertson. This song made my day and I think it will make yours. Check it out below.
