The Doors will be releasing their 50th anniversary of “Morrison Hotel” from 1970. Due out October 9th. You can pre-order it here. The band brings us back in the studio live for the recording of their song “Roadhouse Blues”. Jim Morrison sets up the song and tells you the backstory and then kicks into the song. This is the kind of stuff I love, the candid moments, behind the scenes things you don’t usually get. I am so glad that they captured these sessions. You get to go back and hear the band in it’s prime and so on.mUnfortunately there is no video but just a stream of the song. Check it out below.
