The Dead Daisies Get Political With New Single “Rise Up”!

Supergroup The Dead Daisies (A group worthy of the name supergroup), released their first single from their soon to be released album “Burn It Down”, due out on April 6th. You can pre-order it here. The new song Rise Up is a call to action. The song commands that our voices be heard, that we shouldn’t accept empty promises that our leaders deliver. Stand together and demand change. Now that the message is clear, let’s get to the music. The music is angry as most people are when standing up for something. Powerful riffs matched with John Corabi’s voice make for a passionate song. When you think you heard it all Doug Aldrich’s guitar solo shows that this protest song should be taken seriously. The other thing that I love about this song is the way Deen Castronovo drums synch with the guitar during the solo, it’s pretty impressive.
