The Damned Releases “Look Left”!

The Damned has released a new single this week from their just-released album “Evil Spirits”. The new song is Look Left. To start with the video and the song are very well done. I am quite surprised that these goth/punk rockers would put out a single of this type. But don’t let that fool you, they stay true to who they are. This one is written by drummer Pinch. Ironically, if you pay attention to the video, he’s only seen on tv and not with the rest of the band. I thought that was interesting. The song is very political. Check out this verse and tell me you can’t relate today’s politics and news to it;

“Masterful illusions Digital magicians Guided by the hidden hand Lies become the facts Writers in a wrong world By shackles, they are bound Censorship is slavery History has found”

I love the line Lies Become The Facts, that’s a pretty accurate description of today’s political climate. In any case, you can check out the video/single below.
