The Cold Stares Release Another Killer Single “Take This Body From Me”!

The Cold Stares just released their new album “Heavy Shoes”, which you can order yourself a copy here. The latest single Take This Body From Me. You get a real nice groove and feel from the opening riffs and steady beat of Brian Mullins on the drums. There is a cadence in the way that Chris Tapp sings this one that gives the song a emotional vibe that really makes you listen to what he is singing. I love the attitude when you hear him sing the following verse;
“They say that we are the talk of the town Backbiters and liars they are putting us down But if your love is a river, I’m ready to drown Just keep holding me down”
I mean that third line really is revealing and well said. This duo always seems to impress me one way or the other with their music and lyrics. They put it all on the line with what they put out. I almost feel after listening to them this much, that I know them. At least that’s the feeling I get when I listen, which makes then very relatable. Tapp also delivers a nice guitar solo. This track should be on your playlist. It gets better the more you play it. You don’t get a video this time but a stream of the song over the album cover. Check it out below.
