The Cold Stares Put The Heavy In Their New Release And Title Track “Heavy Shoes”!

The Cold Stares will be releasing their new album “Heavy Shoes” on August 13th. You can pre-order it here. The new single and title track Heavy Shoes is a great track. The powerful and no pun intended heavy sound redefines what Blues can be. Chris Tapp has vocal delivery that is unmatched in m y opinion when it comes to singing the Blues. You feel every word he sings. It takes the song to another level. Brian Mullins thunderous drums truly fills out the song.

Once again it’s hard to believe that this is two guys. Tapp really does a nice e melodic solo that pretty much brings the whole thing together. The video is done in black and white and shot in what looks like a church. I’m sure the acoustics had be great in there. It’s always cool to see performance by the band. You get a treat here when you see Mullins toss his stick in the air several times. Check it all out below.
