The Black Keys Release New Single. A Very Cool Cover Of Junior Kimbrough’s “Stay All Nig

The Black Keys has released a new single for their latest album “Delta Kream” their tribute Southern Blues. You can get a copy here. The new single is a cover of Junior Kimbrough’s Stay All Night. The song features Kenny Brownon guitar and Eric Deaton on bass, who played with Kimbrough. The sing is a full minute longer than the original so you get some extra love with this version. I do like the groove they set up here. I tip my hat to them for what they did with this record. They drew attention to several blues heroes that many didn’t know about as well doing great renditions of those songs. Nothing but love here.

The video, like the others from this record pays homage to the scene of where the music was born. It really gives you a feel from where they came from. You also get them performing the song, which is always a good thing. You can check it all out below.
