SRR A-Sides!

Skillet went all out on their latest video. The video has the band trying to escape a testing facility while being chased by zombies. It’s a great one to watch. Vocalist and bassist John Cooper said he wrote the song about the fact that he was tired of people saying that rock is dead. He was annoyed by it and so he wrote this song, Back From The Dead. It’s off their current album “Unleashed”. Check out the video and the song below.

The next Rock And Roll Fantasy Camp will feature Nancy Wilson of Heart, Gregg Bissonette from David Lee Roth‘s band, and Steven Adler from the original Guns And Roses, just to name a few. It will be held June 29th through July 2. Get the details here.

Kid Rock has released a new portable American made grill called the American Bad Ass Grill. It sounds like he is campaigning. But it’s a great thing. You can learn more about it and watch the promo video to hear what he and others say about it here.

Earlier this week I told you that Peter Criss will be a guest at this year’s New York Kiss Expo. Criss just announced that this will be his last ever live performance, in the USA. He also has one in Australia in May. That will be his last live performance there, as well. You can hear it from the Catman himself via his website here.

Nickelback made the news this week, but not as a punchline. Their album, “All The Right Reasons” hit Diamond status. What that means is the band’s record sold 10 Million copies, yes 10 million! I bet you thought everyone hated them. Guess who’s laughing now?

Night Ranger are streaming another song this week called Truth. It’s from their forthcoming album, “Don’t Let Up”. It’s due out March 24. Listen to it below.

In case you missed it, Punky Meadows teamed up with Frank Dimino, both formerly of Angel. What makes this magical is that they haven’t played together in over 30 years. This took place in Las Vegas at the Backstage Bar & Billiards on March 8th. I wish I was there for this one. Check out the song Tower below. You can get other Punky Meadow’s tour dates here.

Idlewar released a new video this week for their song Soul. It’s off their current album, “Impulse”. I love the guitar in this one and the solo of course. Check it out below.
