SIXTEENX20 has released a new single titled "My Shadow"! No word on a new album, but the band does put out some great one offs. This one is no exception. The song is dedicated in memory of Olivia Rae Apple and Larry Stewart Apple, guitarist Tucker Apple's family.
The song is heartfelt. Ed Lawrence's vocals are tender and passionate, and the guitar melodies are soft and calming. The slow and driving rhythm section makes you feel the emotion the song intends. Overall, this song is a personal and comes across as such. The video shows the band performing the single and the color tones in it I think really set the tone for it. I think the video and the music are packaged well. You can check it out below.
