Shallow Side Releases A Damn Good Cover Of Journey’s “Separate Ways (World’s Apart

Shallow Side has released a stand alone single of their version of Journey’s Separate Ways (World’s Apart). First off, not many would take on a Steve Perry’s vocals. Eric Boatright did and nailed it. I’m impressed at his range and delivery of this song and the band’s harmonies. I think the boys updated the song and made it their own. I found it refreshing and a nice tribute to the original. The video shows them recording the song and see candid moments within that. You even see them watching the Journey video for the song. All in all I am very pleased with this take on a classic.
