Shakey Deville has released a new single for a yet to be named forth coming album. The band's first full length one. Down The Line pulls you in right away. It opens with a guitar groove by Curly Staples that just makes you feel something, it puts you in a mood to rock. But what takes the song to the next level is the build up in the drums by James Owen. I would say it's eargasmic. He is anchored by the bass playing of Joshua Bradley. The groove these two put in this track is something that is well worth noting. With all that being said, you need some attitude to match the music and that's exactly what you get in Dan Miller's vocals. I love when he sings the following verse;
"I gotta foot on the gas,
I gotta foot on the grave,
and just so you understand,
this ain't a soul you will save"
You get the feeling you're not going to mess with this guy, he's on a mission. Just love the way he delivers his perspective. I think the song will be a great live track and I can just see everyone singing along with their fists pumping to this. The song is well packaged and definitely will be on repeat on your playlist. The only thing that's missing here is a video of the band playing it. Check it out below.
