Sammy Hagar has released two videos from his days with Van Halen from his vault. The performance for the songs was taken from Tokyo, Japan back in 1989. Both songs are from their 1986 album 5150. No need to comment on the songs themselves, they are classics now. The thing is getting to see these guys perform at that time. I don’t think i have seen Eddie Van Halen smile so much. Watching them all have a good time and the energy is amazing to see. It’s hard to believe after watching this that they had issues. In any event, relish in the fact that you get to see something this spectacular. Check out Why Can’t This Be Love and 5150 below.
