New Supergroup Hail The Horns Release Cover Of Kiss’s “God Of Thunder”!

Guitarist Mark Rizzo (Soulfly, Cavalera Conspiracy) has formed a new band that features bassist and vocalist Tony Campos (Static X, Fear Factory, Soulfly) and drummer Christian “Opus” Lawrence (Dead By Wednesday, Ellefson). They call themselves Hail The Horns. You can check out their website here. There is no word about an album but they have given us their version of the Kiss classic God Of Thunder.

As many of you know I’m a diehard Kiss fan, that being said I love this cover. Overall, it stays true to the original. The one thing that I really like is that they made it sound much more evil and eerie than Kiss did. Rizzo did himself justice with guitar work. The band really did a nice job with this one. The lyric video is animated and you get to see band image as well. Looking forward to what else they have to offer. Check it out below.
