Neil Young Strips Down And Goes Old School In His Latest Release!

Neil Young has released an acoustic version of his song Powederfinger. It appears on his current album “Hitchhiker”. This is the album that should have been released in 1976, but the record label said no. Young originally wrote the song for Lynyrd Skynyrd, but the plane crash that ended the lives of three members, Ronnie Van Zant, Steve Gaines and Cassie Gaines, prevented that from happening. Young added this acoustic version to this album. I love the song and will note that this is the Neil Young I enjoy. I haven’t been a fan as of late. But this is a great version of the song. I still am not sure what the message is in it, but like it anyway. Check out the animated video below.
