Finally, Wolfmother gives us new music. The good news is the album, Victorious, comes out February 24. The better news is that they are going to support it with a tour!

There is a documentary coming out celebrating the electric guitar. It’s called appropriately, Turn It Up! It features Kevin Bacon as the host and features the likes of Slash, Steve Lukather, John 5, Paul Stanley and many others. You can watch the trailer here
There is a Ronnie Montrose Memorial Concert on January 23rd. It’s at the Observatory in Santa Ana, CA. The lineup is huge. Brad Gillis (Night Ranger), Gilby Clarke (Guns And Roses), Tracii Guns (L.A. Guns), Carmine Appice (too many to list), Derek St. Holmes (Ted Nugent), David Ellefson (Megadeth), Brad Whitford (Aerosmith), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), even Keith St. John of Montrose. There are many others that will be added. Hopefully, Sammy Hagar shows up as well. I’m sure there will be a DVD of the event. Get tickets here
Sebastian Bach wants to reconcile with Skid Row and get back together with them. Not sure if this more about ego or not, but I’m sure people will go crazy for it if it did.
Sixthman has announced the KISS Kruise dates, which are November 4-9, 2016. KISS have stated that they will pay tribute to the 1982 Creatures Tour. Jason Mackenroth of the Rollins Band and most recently the Blue Man Group, died this week at the age of 46 from prostate cancer. RIP, Jason.
There is a Dimebag Darrell tribute show coming January 22 at The Lucky Strike in Hollywood, CA. It features a slew of artists, members of Pantera, Slayer, Alice In Chains, Black Label Society, Hatebreed, Armored Saint and so many others.
