KISS as part of their Sound Board series are now releasing The latest one which is "KISS - Off The Soundboard: Poughkeepsie, New York, 1984". You can pre-order it here. Ahead of its release we get Creatures Of The Night. The show is from the "Animalize" tour. What makes this one special is that you get Mark St. John on guitar. St. John only played two and half shows with KISS. He was later replaced by Bruce Kulick who was on the tour as a back up and eventual a member of the band. Another ket factor is that you get to hear Eric Carr live. Those two factors will make you want get this record if you are a fan of that era. You will also get Paul Stanley's stage raps that were iconic for this non make up years. I'm not really thrilled with the mix on this one. At times Gene Simmons bass line sounds like a theme to a western tv show. The ne thing that does stands out is St. John's guitar solo, considering it wasn't his but Vinnie Vincent's. I am looking forward to hearing this record as there isn't much available from this tour. Unfortunately we don't get any footage from the show. You can check out the audio below.

It was Steve Farris (of Mr. Mister)'s guitar 🎸 solo, on the *Creatures Of The Night* album.
