Joan Jett & The Blackhearts Release An Acoustic Version Of Their Song “(I’m Gonna)

Joan Jett & The Blackhearts will be releasing a new acoustic album on March 25th titled “Changeup”. Unfortunately, you can’t pre-order it yet. The first single form the record is their (I’m Gonna) Run Away from their 1981 “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” album. I was pleasantly surprised bytes one. I think it’s better than the original. I think the song takes on a whole different life in this mode. I also think it really highlights Joan Jett’s voice and a softer way. What else I liked is the crispness of the acoustic guitar mixed with her vocals are very hypnotic. This is a joy to listen to. Accompany the track is a lyric video. Check it out below.
