Jethro Tull Releases A New Single "Ginnungagap"!

Jethro Tull has a new album coming out on April 21st titled "RökFlöte". You can pre-order it here. The album is based on Norse Mythology. The album title is made up of course, by Ian Anderson. It's based on Ragnor, the Rök, and flute (For obvious reasons) Flöte. Anderson was inspired by the Norse God Ymir for the record. The lead single is Ginnungagap. In the mythology the name of the singles a void. You can delve more into the whole Norse thing if you like, but I'm going eave it there. Back to the music. Now this is the type of song I would expect from Tull in the seventies and early eighties. I love the rocking music underneath his flute playing. Anderson's voice is amped up as well which really gives the track more of an edge. The guitar work is melodic and intricate. I truly, like this one and am looking forward to what's to come. The video is animated and based on the topic at hand. Check it out below.
