Def Leppard will be releasing a new album on May 19th titled "Drastic Symphonies". You can pre-order it here. Ahead of its release we get Animal, which first appeared on their 1987 "Hysteria" album. The band has done something rather unique here, according to Joe Elliot, they aren't the first. I will admit I'm not aware of any rock band who has done what they have. What you get on this record is the band revisiting old tracks mixed with some new parts from the band and filtered in with the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. You will hear Elliot duetting with younger version of himself (Original recording)). I'm not sure how to explain what you are hearing but I never heard anything like it. I find it and interesting and refreshing idea. Old and new mixed. Phil Collen has stated it's. a Greatest Hits yet new Def Leppard album. Let's see if you feel the same way. Check it out below.
