Deep Purple Releases A Great Version Of Fleetwood Mac’s “Oh Well”!

Deep Purple will be releasing a covers album on November 26th titled “Turning To Crime”. You can pre-order a copy here. The band pays homage to their fellow British rockers Fleetwood Mac’s Oh Well. First let me say this is my favorite Fleetwood Mac song. I know it means nothing to say that but I mention it because the song is one of my sacred ones. But I was blown away by this version.

Ian Gillan nails this in a way I think just makes the song better. Seriously, it is literally eargasmic. They do a nice job with the rest of the song, they did find a groove to make itchier own, but is all about Gillan’s voice. Amazing is where I’ll leave it for this. The video is a crime story, probably going to be ongoing theme from the title of the album if they release more videos. I think you will enjoy watching it. Check it out below.
