Bush has a new album coming out some time in May titled “The Kingdom”. No pre-orders yet. Ahead of its release is their new single Flowers On A Grave. Based on the single and he album title it sounds like the band have found some religion in their lives. We shall see. The new song has some powerful riffs and has some interesting changes. It comes on strong and then softens when Gavin Rossdale starts singing. Overall the song is decent heavy tune. A grower, the more I play it the more I like it. Lyrically, I’m not sure what the band is saying, I’m a bit confused by it to be honest. I’ll let you judge, look at this verse for instance;
“Salt state of mind It’s like a Valentine Rope around and make you mine And I’m in a noose The animals are on the move Tell me what you’re gonna do I can see you comin’ through Everyone all the time”
It’s like that through out the song. Good thing the music covers it all. There is no video, but just a stream of the song. Check it out below.
