Ace Frehley (KISS) has a new album coming out on February 23rd called "10, 000 Volts".You can pre-order it here. Ahead of the forthcoming album we have the title track, 10,000 Volts. I have to say this is better than I expected. First off, I am excited that it's an original and that it rocks. I wasn't looking forward to another covers album. The song sounds like it could be the sequel to Shock Me. It makes feel like there is hope for throwback to his seventies sound. What I like about this the best is he seems he has something to prove or should I say a chip on his shoulder. I think he is tired of Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons taking shots at him. All that drama makes for a great rock track. I find it ironic that he releases a new single the same week KISS's playing their last show. Things that make you go hmmm. That aside, all that angst has shown up in his guitar work, his solo is smoking. The video for the single shows Ace with lots of energy and attitude. I love how he goes through playing all his guitars, showing pyro and whirring his lightning bolt shirt. A lot of things coming to the surface all in one video. All I can say is Ace is back and he told you so. Check it out below.
